Foundation Course in the UK

If you are an international student who has completed high school but does not
have 13 years of education, you will be required to take a foundation course at a
UK university or college before beginning your bachelor’s degree. A foundation
the course is a one-year preparatory course for international students who need
additional English language and academic education before enrolling in a
university undergraduate program at any university in the United Kingdom.

A foundation degree in the UK is the academic equivalent of two-thirds of a
Bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Diploma of Higher
Education (DipHE) at Level 5 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Studying for a foundation program is an excellent way to prepare for both higher
education and living in a foreign country. Foundation Programme prepares you
for your bachelor’s by providing you with the necessary knowledge and skills. This is
especially beneficial if you lack any necessary academic or professional
experience to enter the Eligible Program.

Most of the foundation providers have agreements with universities and can
ensure a students admission if they get satisfactory results. Many programs will
have the opportunity for students living on campus, with full university status and
access to libraries, computers, and all the other facilities.

The cost of a course varies from one university to another, but you may be eligible for
financial aid, especially if you’re a working student. You’ll also be eligible for the
same student financial aid as other university students. To find out how much it
would cost and whether you will be able to secure funding, contact the university
or institution. If you’re currently employed, your employer may be able to assist
you as well. Total fee for International Foundation Program (one year) for
the Academic year 2022-2023 is£2324.
